Turn off all the lights in the house when not in use, turn off all switches at night, use energy saving lightbulbs, make sure your fridge fully uses it’s space....the list goes on. It seems that despite being under constant terror of not being green, that there are actually a million and one ways that we can save energy, only nobody every listens obviously. Maybe. Then again, maybe not. How many of you follow advice like those listed above and yet never seem to notice bills going down? Most of you I would imagine.
The thing is that, most of this advise is dished out by the ad-campaigns for our energy suppliers and they usually omit when very important detail. That it might actually be even cheaper elsewhere, not only that but more energy efficient too, if you were to take into account your location.
Don’t be blind to this and have a quick peruse of the internet, it should be relatively easy to find a decent Compare energy website. Find out if you are missing out.
