Forgive me in advance as this might be a bit controversial. But, what the hell is the deal with everybody hating Katie from X-Factor? Does nobody else think that she is actually alright?
I mean, yes she is occasionally a bit annoying but who isn’t? She’s not worthy of death threats thats for sure. I actually think that she is a pretty good singer and also, beautiful, which in my opinion should have detracted away from the occasional odd comment she makes. Admittedly, I’m not sure what my thoughts on her new pixie hair are but none the less, she is still alright.
Lets all lay off Katie this week and give her a chance, we are fast becoming a nation of complete and utter bullies.

I’m always slightly reluctant to take a date to a London gastro pub, mostly because the cities penchant for juxtaposing a pub and stylish eaterie often ends up all wrong. Eating whilst you cannot hear yourself think over the rabble of the bar is not ideal if you’re trying to impress a lady.
The Old Dairy in North London manages to overcome such problems via its expansive size and clearly separate bar and dining areas. Easily fulfilling my search of the perfect pubs in London that I can take a girl to.
With the usual dark and moody stylings of other gastro pubs it fits the bill well without seeming overly ironic or try hard. It does lack the charm of a far out country pub but you will be hard pushed to find something that does hold up as much in North London.

November see’s the release of Call of Duty Black Ops, the game that let’s be honest, we have been waiting for almost our entire lives.
As well as the obvious extra maps and weapons that a new instalment to the brand will bring, we also have new, interesting and shed loads of fun multiplayer games added to the mix.
Here are the 2 hat have got me most excited:
Sticks and Stones Using only crossbows, knives and axes you are literally left to fight with sticks and stones. Bringing a twisted personal edge to the game.
One in the Chamber: 3 lives and one bullet. If you get a kill with your single shot, you get a new bullet, fail and your left with just your hands to fight off your friends. Potentially the most addictive game since Tag on Tony Hawks Pro Skater.
After being a viral sensation for a matter of weeks, Cee Lo Green has finally made a proper video for his brilliantly bittersweet heartbreak single, F**k You!
The video sees CeeLo narrating the story as we are taken from his Childhood, to the college years, right through to his new status as a Ladykiller popstar. Whilst lacking the Karaoke charm of the original song, there is still something endearing about the clip, which tells the story of the every man doing good. Not only that but the song and the lyrics are just about the catchiest explicit ones I have head since Emmons F**k you right back, which was only good for purely bad reasons.
Last night I was with a mate who told me to check out a new comedian called Chris Ramsey from Newcastle and I must say, the guy is great. He reminds me a little bit of Russel Howard but with a far more enigmatic working class northern tone (he’s a Geordie), he is wonderfully self depreciating but also quick and hard enough to take down the worse of hecklers.
After spots supporting slots for the likes of Al Murray, Russel Howard, a sell out Edinburgh show and TV appearances on Howards BBC show, Ramsey is a man doing a lot at a very fast rate. My sources also tell me that he is about to become one of the regular faces on a Channel Four comedy panel show.
Watch this space, Ramsey is soon going to be the name on everybodies lips.
